SOLD – Randall Made Knives Model # 18, full tang Solingen Crutchtip – extremely rare

I have a very rare full tang Model # 18 available. The Solingen blade measures 7 1/4″ in length and has the very early “humpback” with saw teeth upper grind. The ricasso is lightly stamped Randall Made, Solingen – Germany.  The blade has sharpening scratches and carbon spotting. The handle is fitted with a brass hilt which measures 3 1/4″ in width. The stainless hollow handle measures 4 1/2″ in length and is wrapped with leather and has a white crutch tip. The tang sticks up into the handle 4″ and is rounded on the end and drilled in three locations which can be seen with a flash light. The knife comes with a very early double brown button, split back Johnson Roughback sheath. The stitching and snaps are perfect. The knife comes with a used combination stone.

This is most likely one of the first year production Model 18’s when they come out in 1963.

Thanks for viewing.
