Condition – Excellent
Date of manufacture – 1964-65
Blade – 7 1/2″ carbon steel, original Randall grind and finish
Hilt – Double brass
Handle – Brown micarta with one filled hole, drilled for wrist thong
Sheath – Was made by Johnson, it’s the splitback variation that was made from 1962-1967, the sheath was special ordered without the stone pouch, the original leather thong is still wrapped around the the top of the sheath. The sheath is in perfect condition, the knife has been stored out of the sheath since purchased.
Collector interest – It would be impossible to find another example that has condition and rare features like this knife and sheath.
