SOLD – Randall Model # 5 – 6″, pinned ebony – RARE

I have a very unique Randall Model # 5 for sale. The knife was made around 1954 and ordered with some great options which makes this knife quite rare. The knife has a 6 1/4″ carbon steel blade that has been lightly sharpened and has light carbon spotting on both sides of the blade. The original owner’s name is expertly engraved on the non-logo side of the blade JR BLAUVELT. The knife is fitted with a single nickel silver hilt which has seven spacers separating the hilt from the handle. The handle is made from ebony which is pinned to the tang of the knife with a single brass pin. The handle is flawless, tight to the tang of the knife and crack free. Randall Made Knives pinned non-leather handled knives from 1947 – 1957. Ebony was also first cataloged in 1954. The knife comes with a great looking Heiser sheath which is stamped with the Heiser logo and 1 3 on the rear. The sheath houses a combination SIC. 74 stone which is correct for this period.

If You collect pinned Randall Knives You will recognize how rare this knife is. Thanks for viewing, Steve Zimmerman.
