Home/SOLD KNIVES OF COLLECTOR INTREST
Sold – Randall Model # 1 – 8″ Westinghouse Yellow micarta- mid 70’s
sold – I have for sale a Randall Model # 1 that was made in the mid 70’s and never used. The knife has rested in the sheath and retains the original Randall grind and finish. The carbon steel blade measures 8 1/8″ in length and has the original owner’s name etched on the blade – Michael J. McGill. The blade does have some light carbon spotting on both sides that are extremely faint. The knife is fitted with a double brass hilt which has a stack of five spacers separating the hilt from the handle. The handle is made from early yellow Westinghouse micarta and to finish it off there’s a brass butt cap. The knife comes with a Johnson rough back Model “A” sheath which houses an unused Soft Arkansas stone. These early Randall Model # 1’s with Westinghouse yellow micarta are very difficult to find. Thanks for viewing Steve Zimmerman.
