SOLD – Randall Knives Model 1-8″+ 5-6″, named to Col. ROBERT D. WHITTINGTON III, U.S. Army + author of many Colt books !

  • I have a collectible pair of Randall Knives for sale that belonged to Robert D. Whittington III who was a Col. in the U.S. Army and authored many books on Colt pistols. Both knives are etched on the blade by Randall.

 

  • Model # 1.
  • Made – 1967 – 1972.
  • Blade – 8″ stainless steel blade with separate “S” blade stamp. The knife has been lightly sharpened and has very faint sheath insertion scratches. The blade was etched by Randall – ROBERT D. WHITTINGTON III, U.S. ARMY 096930.
  • Hilt – Double brass.
  • Handle – Seven spacers at the hilt. Black micarta with wrist thong.
  • Sheath – Johnson roughback Model “A”.
  • Stone – Correct period SP-13.

 

  • Model # 5.
  • Made – 1967 – 1972.
  • Blade – 5″ stainless steel with separate “S” blade stamp. This knife has been used and has sharpening scratches on both sides of the blade. This knife was also etched by Randall – ROBERT D. WHITTINGTON III.
  • Hilt – Single brass.
  • Handle – Seven spacers at the hilt and a black micarta handle with wrist thong.
  • Sheath – Johnson roughback Model “A”.
  • Stone – Looks like a Soft Arkansas, the writing is worn off.
