SOLD – Randall Knife Model # 4 – 7″, made 1947 – 1948

SOLD – I have for sale a Randall Model # 4 that has been well taken care of. The knife has a wide 7 1/4″ carbon steel blade that retains the original Randall grind and finish. The blade has been lightly sharpened and the original owner’s name is etched on the blade – CARL SWANSTROM. The knife is fitted with a single bronze colored hilt which has five thick spacers separating it from the handle. The handle is made from stag which is pinned in place and fitted with right hand finger grips. The handle is crack free and flawless. The sheath is also in mint condition and it’s un-marked, my guess it’s a Heiser ? The stitching is tight, the rivets at the throat intact and all snaps are present. The keeper strap is riveted to the sheath with a large harness rivet and the leather is perfect. The sheath house a Norton Abrasives Soft Arkansas stone which is correct for this period knife and sheath. It would be near impossible to locate another Model # 4 from this time period in better condition. Thanks for viewing, Steve Zimmerman.
