SOLD – Randall Knife Model # 1 – 7″, early 50’s, excellent condition

SOLD

SOLD – I have available a Randall Model # 1 that was ordered in the early 50’s and put away. The knife and sheath are in fantastic and original condition. The carbon steel blade measures just over 7 1/16″ in length. The upper clip has been lightly sharpened which could have been done before it left the shop, otherwise the blade is untouched. There are a couple faint carbon spots that are extremely minor on both sides of the blade, the original forging marks are very visible as well as the grind lines. The original owner’s name is factory etched – PAUL McKNIGHT DEELEY. The knife is fitted with a nickel silver hilt which is an option. There are two medium, two thin and one thick center spacer separating the hilt from the handle. The stacked leather handle is in excellent condition and tight to the tang of the knife. There are three spacers at the butt end, one thin red and a thick white and thick blue. The duralumin butt cap is drilled for a wrist thong and is secured to the tang of the knife with a brass washer and brass nut. The knife comes with a Heiser sheath that is in great condition as well. The keeper strap is without cuts, all snaps are working and intact and the stitching is tight. The rear of the sheath is stamped with the Heiser logo and 7 over 1. The snaps on the keeper strap and stone pocket are both brown painted metal glove snaps. The sheath houses an unused combination SIC – 74 stone.

If Your looking to add a vintage Randall Model # 1 to Your collection this is the knife. Thanks for viewing, Steve Zimmerman.
